About Us

Whitney Clark is the 11 year old native Houstonian and owner of the Texas Cookie Emporium.  This young entrepreneur has a big personality in a little package with a passion for helping others.  She started her cookie business with the help of her father as a way to learn about running a small business.  Growing up around her father's photography studio, she learned that owning your own business has a lot of freedom but requires a lot of work and passion.  Whitney's job at the studio was to help her father bake cookies for customers.  After perfecting the recipes and with the encouragement of friends and family, Whitney and her dad decided to start selling their cookies.  Making great cookies is not Whitney's only requirement.  She wants to give back to her city and specifically kids in her community.  Part of the proceeds she makes, are donated to the Sunshine Kids, a non-profit organization for kids with cancer.
